VEAT Law Firm (hereafter "the company") hereby establishes and publishes this privacy policy to resolve complaints of individual information subjects (applicants) smoothly and quickly concerning their personal information while also protecting their personal information and rights and interests pursuant to the Personal Information Protection Act.

Article 2 (Purposes of processing and retention period of personal information)

The personal information shall be retained and used only until the purpose of its processing is fulfilled, and shall, as a rule, be destroyed without delay once the purpose is fulfilled unless the company is required to archive said personal information pursuant to provisions of the relevant statutes.

Article 3 (Provision of personal information to third parties)

The company shall process the personal information of the applicants only for the purposes specified in this Privacy policy. The company shall provide personal information to third parties only with consent based on the provisions under the relevant statutes, including the Personal Information Protection Act. The company does not currently provide personal information to any third parties.

Article 4 (Outsourcing of the processing of personal information)

The company does not outsource the processing of personal information to any outside parties. The company shall disclose any changes in outsourced parties or functions outsourced.

Article 5 (Rights and duties of the information subjects and the methods to exercise them)

• The information subjects or the concerned persons may exercise their rights concerning the protection of their personal information, including making a request to the company for their review, correction, deletion, or discontinuing of processing of their personal information as provided under the relevant statutes including the Personal Information Protection Act.

• The company shall take actions as provided under the relevant statutes, including the Personal Information Protection Act, in connection with the rights exercised by the information subjects.

Article 6 (Destruction of personal information)

• The company shall destroy the relevant personal information without delay when said information is no longer necessary, including when the purpose of processing personal information has been fulfilled. However, the company shall store and maintain the relevant personal information or files separately from the others when the company archives certain personal information without destruction pursuant to the relevant statutes.

• When the personal information that must be destroyed is kept in a digital file format, the company shall delete the file in an irrevocable manner. When the personal information is kept on other records, printouts, documents or other recording media, the company shall shred or incinerate them.

Article 7 (Collection of opinions and handling of complaints)

The information subjects may inquire of the information protection manager or the responsible department concerning the protection of their personal information or make a request for them to handle complaints or to provide relief for damages. The company shall quickly provide sufficient responses to all such complaints or requests.

The company's policies regarding the processing of personal information may be modified pursuant to the relevant statutes, guidelines, and internal policies. When they are modified, the details shall be published as provided under the relevant statutes.

The company shall take technical and administrative actions for the protection of the security of personal information based on the relevant statutes.
